About the Author
Ethan Yorke, Co Founder of Lucid Listings Photo and Video
Ethan Yorke is a Professional Photographer based out of Southern California who has been making money taking photos of cars for over 6 years. When he began his journey as an Automotive Photographer in 2016, he was always splitting his time between Photography and some other full time job. During this time, he knew that one time he wanted to be a Photographer full time, he just didn't have the skills yet and didn't know how to start a business.
Years went by but Ethan never lost his passion for Automotive Photography. If he ever had a day off from his full time job(s), he'd either be at a car meet taking photos of cars, shooting a client's car, or shooting his own car. He enjoyed this, but was always bothered by the fact that his Photography schedule was completely dependent on his "regular" work schedule.
In 2019, Ethan was furloughed from his job as a Car Salesperson when the Covid-19 Pandemic began. He took that time to learn as much as he possibly could about running businesses and making money as an entrepreneur and, in 2021, he and his business partner founded their own company: Lucid Listings Photo and Video. Since then, the business has done just shy of $100,000 in sales which has allowed both Ethan and his business partner to live out their dreams as full time photographers.
Ethan is extremely grateful for the position he is in as the owner of his own Photography company, but he knows that his success was due to having learning opportunities that not everyone else has. His goal with The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Automotive Photography is to give anyone serious enough Car Photography the ability to learn absolutely everything they'd need to know to put themselves in the same position as him. He doesn't want any of his students to have to go through the years of struggle and making mistakes to get to the point where they can become the professional Car Photographer that they want to be.
Following the release of The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Automotive Photography, Ethan will remain dedicated to adding onto the course with valuable information and resources to ensure that his students get the most value possible for their money. In addition, he has several projects planned for the following years that look to completely disrupt the Automotive Content Creation industry!
